funds program available for our military service members. The Iowa
Legislature has appropriated $2 million to the Military Service Member
Home Ownership Assistance Program for eligible members of the
The Iowa Finance
Authority administers the program for the state and borrowers must use an IFA
participating lender. To qualify, the service member must have served at least
90 days cumulative active duty between 9/11/2001 & 6/30/2008. All grants
under the program are subject to funding availability. Grants are awarded in
the order in which completed grant applications are received.
